in my childhood i used to wake up early everyday. we must jump up in bed before the sun rises. it is a belief of my mother that we should wake up before the sun rises in order to welcome the new day and let the blessings enter in our home. we opened our windows and doors widely. for the sun rises to enter. according to my mom they represents the blessings.
now that i have my own family i want to practice the same. but cant do it because my kids do sleep late at night. my hubby also do the same. me i usually get up early for i have to be at work. but not as early as i used to when i was a kid. 7am is the earliest time for me to jump up the bed. my hubby and kids are around 9-10 am. my hubby is working in a mall and his schedule is 12noon. thats why he dont want to get up early.
but i feel like we are not having enough blessings because we are too late to receive it. i always blame my husband when we've got nothing to buy for food.
am i superstitious or life is really hard nowadays?

My family practices the same before. I am not really sure if it works, but I also believe that times nowadays are hard. Everything are getting expensive, and people need to find high paying jobs to be able to cope up with the increasing prices of neccessities. Maybe it is still good to be superstituous but we also need to strive hard to live and get to our goal.
