When I married my husband, his mom, sister in law, and aunt are Witnesses, my mom said they are an "Occult". What do you BELIEVE, and WHY?? I have learned alot of TRUTH about them, I am not one, but if you are INTERESTED in knowing that they are not an "Occult" you are welcome to have a discussion with me, I don't know everything about them, but I know enough to get us started, I love to study RELIGION and see what others BELIEVE.. All I have heard about them, was they didn't BELIEVE IN JESUS, they think you got to save so many people.. These things aren't true.. I am not trying to convert you to be one, but see when they come to your door, they are comming with truth and LOVE.. Any info I don't know I WILL FIND IT OUT for you.. Let's get started..

hello! it's really nice to read what you write: They are coming with Truth and LOVE." This religion is neither occult nor cult. They believe that the bible is a word of God and true religion should be measured up in what that book said. 2 timothy 3:16-17 They believe that the TRue God is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) That Jesus is the redeemer, perfecter of the faith (hebrew 12:2) and the Son of God (Luke 1:30-32) They do the evangelizing as the fulfillment of Jesus prophesy & commandment (Matthew 24:14 & Matthew 28:19,20) There are lot more to learn if you visit their website: www.watchtower.org or if they knock to your door, welcome them in.. have a nice day!

I went to school with some kids who were Jehovah's Witnesses. Only thing I really remember about it is they didn't celebrate Christmas or birthdays I think. Could be wrong though. I get a lot of them at my door as there is quite a few of them in the town where I live. I don't really mind them coming round - I'm an atheist anyway so they are really wasting their time with me - but I am polite to them when they come to the door. I know some people are very rude to them which I think is a shame. They're only doing what they feel is the right thing to do and usually they are nice enough people.

I know more about the JWs than I ever want to. They are not an "Occult" they are a CULT. They are not a bible based religion, because any part of the Bible they disagreed with they took out and replaced with something that suited their man made religion. What are their baptism questions? Are you being baptised solely in the name of Jesus Christ?
