If you had a weird last name, would you change it?

I just read a story about a family whose last name is Christmas. If you had an infamous last name, would you legally change it? I know Adolf Hitler had relatives who relocated to the U.S. and they changed their names. There was a Soap Opera star whose brother killed his mother. The actor Thom Beardz, changed his name to Zoey something. So, would you change your name? Why or why not?

Was I responsible for my name? Then no, I would not change it.

No, you are not responsible for your name. However, Hitler had some relatives who immigrated to America. They changed their name and never looked back.

i think that i would go ahead and change my name, if it is offensive, very common, or it may relate to any negative aspect of somebody's life in the past. But i would not change it just because somebody hates that name or does not like it....

I can definitely see changing your name if it was infamous. But in the end, it is a part of who you as a human are!
