a game played with a ball on a regulated field,100 yards in length with goal lines and goal posts at either ends.opposing teams of 11 players each attempt to gain possession of the ball and advance it by means of running and passing plays across the opponent's goal line. a team doing so sources a toushdown,worth six points,and then has the opportunity to kick yhe ball over the goal post for one extra point.....

The ball in your picture is Soccer!!
Known in England and the rest of the world as Football!! So... the ball in the picture should be either round or oblong.... which one is it?
