milk -- veg. or non veg.

I read an article about vegetatian food and its benifits. It criticized non vegetarian food. It said that non veg. is not our right. its the right of those who cant eat veg. My question is that is milk our right. It is for the calf to grow helthier. What do you think about the issue???
