Hallo Friend,Good day to U too.Nice to see a disucssion on this topic. I have been reading spirituality books for some time. They are Autobiography of a yogi and the man's enternal quest written by Sri Paramahansa Yogananda in which he has given his experiences with God. By reading these books I strongly believe in God and in spirituality. And chosen my goal of life the real happiness i.e. to know God.If u r really interested then please go through these books.
Would like to know your comment so that we can continue this discussion.

Hallo, I think for me when I am sad or depressed I think of God and my sadness or depressiongoes away immediately.I can't say I know God but I am trying to know God.It is through only meditation. If U close your eyes you can't see the world around u so U can't say that world doesnot exist like wise if u open your spiritual eye u can see God and I am trying to do that.Tell me onething where u can find unending happiness. If one desire is fulfulling we are happy for sometime but another arises after it. Then what will u do, U keep on fulflling your desires which are unending and if they are not fulfilled we get disappointed.
I know it may sound strange to You that the real happiness lies in God with knowing God. But when I read the experiences of a Yogi , it was really amazing to feel something strange while reading.Yes I strongly believe in God and I think I am right in saying that.
Don't U think why we are born like this and suffering sometimes without a reason we blame God for that, but that is we who are causing our own grief through our deeds. So if there is a way to end this grief shown by many Yogis then why not try it and experience that joy.

I guess you will hear contradicting answers on this subject as everyone has their own views, I am not religious but I am spiritual, I believe the meaning of life is to be happy and treat the gift you have been given with care and respect, to help others along the way and make the most of everything that is put in your way, then one day we will be shown something wonderful that proves it was all worthwhile.

Dear friend
Thanks for ur prompt and thougtful reply. As u have pointed out, everyone likes to be happy, but its always perplexing to find out a means to become happy. Both the haves as well as the have nots are equally unhappy. All the time tested methods to achieve happiness are temporary. Shouldn't there be a universal formula for happiness. Would love to hear your response on the same.
Wishing you a very happy new year.

I know that happiness to me is when you have someone you truely love beside you, I believe without that love a person is not all happy, people survive, they carry on with life but life is really special when you have that special love to lift you.
