It's important, but not as important as it used to be. It's not that big a problem outside of africa anymore imo.

It is a problem all over the world- in every single corner of the world. AIDS knows no boundaries. If you feel that you are "safe", then you should be the first one in line for some serious education. It's true that new cases of HIV and AIDS are growing rapidly in Africa, but here in the U.S., despite all of our efforts, we see an alarming number of new infections daily.
