Do Aliens need oxygen to live?

Some scientists say aliens does exist because of the chances of earth like planets in universe are very high.
But who said all aliens need oxygen to live? Suppose they live in some other atmosphere..breathing something else.. Then why earth like planets required to prosper life in universe?

Maybe not. Oxygen is associated with red blood, they can breathe azoth and have green blood...or whatever...

some scientists think that only oxygen breathing life could be "out there" I presonally don't know, but I hope we find friendly life "out there" in my time. I'd love to be able to see it.
