when do take your tree down

So when do you plan on taking down your christmas tree? I always miss it after I take it down. It seems so bare for awhile.

I always take our Christmas tree down the weekend after Christmas. I am afraid to leave it up too long because of my animals. Last year my one german shepard kept trying to eat the ornaments off of the tree.

We like to keep the tree almost 10- 15 days after Christmas. We don't keep it very long onc christmas is over, because it takes a lot of space of our living room. As we are in appartment we need more space.
