The Israeli Government is committing war crimes in Gaza. These crimes are being committed in violation of international law and in violation of the U.S. Arms Export Control Act that forbids governments from giving military assistance to any country that violates international law. U.N. Secretary General, Kofi Annan has issued a statement today stating that, "The maiming of unarmed civilians is terrorism." In the last month Israel has killed well over thirty children and in the past 24 hours Israel is responsible for the murder of over ten Palestinian children when they dropped a bomb a on top of a home . Israel killed nearly 900 children over the past few years mostly by the deliberate targeting of these young citizens. The U.S. is destroying its credibility throughout the world by allowing Israel to use U.S. aid and weapons against the Palestinian population. Why is the life of a captured Israeli occupation soldier is more important than the lives of innocent Palestinian women and children who have been sitting in Israeli prisons in some cases for years without being charged with a single crime?
