Will the death of Sadam increase Iraqi violence? and how much?

(Seeing as the followers of Sadam are only a very small part of the insurgency)
Will it unite other factions at all?

I think it might create some violence right away. But, long term, many of his followers will probably leave the insurgency realizing they really have nobody to fight for.
