Making Money Online ... Not as Easy As It Sounds

I know a lot of us have tried many things online over the yrs. Some of us may have been members of sites like Epinions.com back in it's hey day, or Themestream.com which was another Writing site I made a lot of $$ from there for a while. Maybe we have tried Online Business one after another, and make some for awhile, but never to where they say you can make, or never get enough of the Support they try to tell you they offer so you end up giving it up and eventually want to Scream when anyone sends you an Email about another Online Business as well.
But in all my search and travels I end up making a lot of Friends. Some of my Referals on here are due to Business ventures I have done online as well. I know even when I feel like a failure, and this whole world gets me down, I have a lot of friends I can turn too, and writing also helps me as well.
I even have found many Scams as well along my travels, and lost $$ from them as well. Now I would Love to get to where come by the end of 2007, I am making an additional $500-$1000 a month, but am skeptical to think if it will ever really come true.
Can anyone else relate? My main Goal and Dream in life is to be a Published Author. Does anyone have some tips on how I can do some of this online?

I'm making about half what my husband makes (which is in your goal range) right now between the programs I have listed on our sites. It isn't enough to pay our bills but it sure helps out. I've been doing the programs for about 6 months now to build up to the level I am at. If I can manage to keep increasing at this rate, I'll be able to pay our bills by myself completely in another year or so. The problem is, there will be a point where the income levels out.
As far as being an author goes, it depends on what you want to write as to whether it will work well on the internet or not. What did you have in mind? Fiction? Advice columns?

While I am thinking about it, I have heard of a few different sites that pay you to blog but they gain the rights to what you right.
If you are willing to give up the rights to your work, I'd suggest looking up the info.

well, always keep on praying and you know that there is always something until we try... never give up but don't spend too much money trying... be practical and save and earn more than you think... it will just slide into your pockets!

Since you are so good in writing I think it might be a good ideas for you to start your journey on ebook. I know someone who have been a full time writer on ebook and doing very well. Another option I can think of will be those freelance jobs, it might be another choice for you start as a freelance writer on anything you know very well or have lots of own experiences to share.I have try on blog myself not long ago and didn't see any encouraging results yet.To me I don't think blogging can really make me good incomes and I do it as to gain some knowledges and to have better understanding for online businesses.

It is hard to make money through the internet, although many people will claim that they do. I think that the only proof of this is what you actually make yourself or else it is just hearsay. One thing that many people actually forget is that they spend so much time on the internet trying to make money when in the long run it costs them. These costs could be because they have a limit on hours or the downloads from their ISP and as soon as they exceed that, they have to pay an additional sum of money to their ISP.
Also if on dial-up connection, there is the cost of the phone call to be factored in. These are all things that many people do not take into account.
Regarding the publishing, have you checked out the discussions of Noot54. He has done some self publishing of his own writings I believe. Also Bunny2 is another one who does quite a bit of writing. Either of both of these might be able to help you but I am not sure whether or not they are on your list of friends.

Yes, a lot of it depends on how much time and effort you can put into what you are trying to do, and if it will be Legit or a scam as well.

Making money online is tough even what you earn is not meeting cost of internet bills each month. We only cost internet bill but to operate computer we use electricity and it increase our bills. However, to be an published author you can search from yahoo key word: publisher, publishing book, author, books, pirnter

Its very correct and actual that non of such work so seen/shows are such easy .Every work has its own style and a person have to devot proper time for earn mony by any means nothing is easy and free as told/shown/called /suggested/recall/tempo to get fast easy ,so be fair in this work nothing is very easy.

Yes i can relate i have been scamed out of thousends and i was going to quit. But i did find some after i got back in and tryed it one more time. They pay for writings that you submit. I joined in October and I have made over $160. If you write enough you could definately reach your goal. i only write a few a month, whenever inspiration strikes. I have gotten paid between $4 - $10 for the articles I have submitted. The link above is my referall link. I think I get money if you join using the link but I am not sure I wasn't really looking at referrals for money.
I just love to write and now I can get paid for it and say that I am a published author.
