What is the best way for a 17 -18 year old girl to lose weight?

I have tried dieting and thats not working because I have no self control. My boyfriend thinks I'm great but I think I can stand to lose a few pounds. My mom and the rest of my family agrees with me about losing weight. On the other hand most of my friends think that my weight is ok and I think that is because they dont know how much I weigh. Basically my height is good for my weight, to them. But I wear a size,lets just say larger than normal. I hate the way most of my pictures look, I think I have huge thighs. Please let me know what I can do in my situation.

The best way to lose weight is exercise. But joining the gym and going regularly will give you the same "self-control" issues you have with dieting. Therefore try walking. Try to walk to school/university/work, or go for a walk every evening with your boyfriend. Walk up stairs rather than use the lift. Just find excuses to move and incorporate them in your life.

The best way to loose weight is to exercise, like walking swimming, bike riding, and eating right.

Your a teenager, still a kid. Believe me, your body is going to go through more changes. Stop obsessing over your weight. If you think you should lose a couple pounds, do it the right way, exercise and eat right.
