It's a nutribiotic which means a natural antibiotic. I have used it in the past to clear up tooth infections, eye infections from leaving my contacts in to long, Ive used it against colds and flu since it is full of vitamin C. I have put it in teas and juices and even Kool-Aid. There is no disguising that bitter nasty taste.! LOL. Don't get me wrong it really works when you are sick or have an infection and it is a lot cheaper than other conventional antibiotics. You can buy it in a health food or whole food store, or even buy it online. It is around the same price regardless. Except when I sent my boyfriend out to buy me a bottle so that I could get it immediately, I found some on the web in pill form. I have no idea how well the pill form works as I have only tried the liquid variety. But the next time that you feel a cold or something coming on I would definitely recommend it despite it's awful taste, It works! I als recently found out that it is also good for people with irritable bowel syndrome.

I've never used it, but I do certainly appreciate the info. I do suffer from IBS, and have been known to include unsweetened white grapefruit juice into my diet regimin (sp?) in place of snacking (natural fat burner and helps to shrink stomach so I get full faster).
Normally when I feel a cold coming on I start popping 500mg vitamin C tabs and echinachea (sp?) capsules right away.
Sounds worth trying. Thanks for the tip.

Not a problem VI. I don't know as I said above about the potency of the capsules but if you ever taste it in liquid form you will probably decide to try the capsules. I know after this bottle is gone it is capsules for me. You have to mix it with another liquid or it can irritate the lymph glands in your throat. It is very thick and very good for you. Give it a shot you may find that regular doses of it will knock that IBS right out. I know a few people who swear by it for that reason.
