Man i hate myspace, i cant stand it. thats what i said in march. in april i wanted to go check it out, just check it out. but man, i had to get a myspace account before i could look at anything. whats up with that. So i did just that. a week later i had 25 friends and was getting on 2 or 3 times a day. i have had a myspace for bout 9 months and i have 203 friends, 2000 and some profile veiws and my parents cant get me off it. Now dont get me wrong, i do do other things. lol now my dad is all worried because of all the stories in the news. im like come on dad dont u think im smarter than that. geez. One could argue that a person who gets addicted to myspace has an addictive-like personality, or would have gotten addicted to something else if Myspace hadn't come along. When I first created a profile, I visited a lot too. But just like other things that can be addictive, you have to treat myspace the same way and know your limits.

Myspace is very addictive. I spend at least 4 hours + on myspace everyday. I'm always looking to see who left me comments or who wants to be my friend. I also like to see what my friends do with their pages. If there was no myspace I don't think I would spend as much time in front of my computer ( Year Right. I would something else to do)

Don't feel bad, I'm a complete addict. I check my myspace at least once in a half hour period, just to check out new blogs, group posts, messages, comments, ... you get the idea, lol. For the person who said something about being in her 30's so it didn't interest her ... I'm about to be 30. My friends list is populated with people younger, my age and older ... a lot of older. Myspace isn't just for teens, by any means. In fact, it's geared to adults at this point, with teens having stipulated private profiles. The main point of myspace was to network bands and new musical artists. I've discovered some amazing new bands that I didn't know about before myspace. (Psst ... check out Viv Savage) And beyond that, I'm heavily involved with blog groups, primarily contraversial blog writers like in the militant atheist area. Groups are also an addicting feature, and I've found some that I'm heavily involved in that are very active, and extremely addictive. Yeah so um ... you're one of many. No worries, lol. ;)

I think myspace is addictive, too. At first, I just joined so I could check out other people's pictures and stuff, but once my friends got on there and I actually started adding friends, it was really fun. When I first joined I logged on so many times a day. Now I usually just check it a few times a week. It is really fun though. And it's fun to leave comments, change your profile and check out other people's comments.
