The other day was such a beautiful day that my daughter and I decided to go for a walk to our local library. On the way there I was approached by three teenage girls asking if I had a cigarette...I told them no and carried on walking. One of them came up behind me and grabbed my shoulder...i dont know how it happened but well I decked her (I'm female)They took off, my daughter was in tears and I was stunned with myself. Well I can tell you now we didnt make it to the library that day and I still feel awful for that girl but what I hate most is that my daughter saw all of it. What would you have done?

well, there isn't much you can do now, but feel bad about it. Talk to you daughter, and ask her how it made her feel. Apologize to her, and let her know that you feel awful for what you did. You never know, it could turn out to help her open up and talk to you more.

Well, whats done is done. You can't be prepared for everything that happens in life. You should forget the incident and move on.
