We Sri Lankans cannot do without spice. I know that Indians are also the same. Cooking time is hell with the hot aroma of chillies spreading all over. Without spice the food will be tastless, more or less it will taste like water. Sri Lanka gave spices to the world. Naturally we have to like it.
