Do you have a favorite children's story? What makes it so special? Please share. I'm thinking about what stories to read to my children.

I like Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, All Tutus Should Be Pink, Dr. Sues books, oh, there's just too many to mention. Reading to your child is such a special bonding opportunity. Don't forget to make the silly voices!

'The Little Prince' by Antoine de St Exupery is a magnificent story. It's about an alien (who has the form of a young boy) who travels through space till reaching Earth, where he encounters the author, who is apilot during the war, stranded in the desert, without water and a broken down plane. The little prince educated the earthling to what is really important in life, friendship, tolerance, love etc, before dying in order to return home. It may sound a little bleak, and is also an Existentialist story for adults; but, it really is a wonderfully lovely story. Also, there is, of course, Winnie-the-Pooh - a classic that no child should be without. All the best to you and the little 'uns.

I love The Top of the Pizzas. It is such a sweet story about not juding people by looks. It was read to me and I found it used online for my son! It's about an ogre who makes pizzas. Such a good one!
