Floating Down the Stream of Consciousness

This may sound silly, but this is an experiement in "Stream of Consciousness writing." It's main goal is to just write about whatever it is that's on your mind right now, whatever the topic. It doesn't matter. I'll go first. Stream of consciousness writing is very informal, it has virtually non-existant grammer and constant run-on sentences that resemble the way we think, not the way were read and it's always freeflowing with very few stops. Like right now, I can't sleep because I'm so congested as I'm getting a cold (or should I say "have a cold") and because I have sleep apnea it doesn't work very well when you are congested so I tried to sleep but couldn't so now I'm up, typing on myLot and watching the replay of the IIFH World Junior Hockey Championship game Canada vs Germany (Go Canada!) but I'm thinking about trying to go to bed soon again, as it's just past 5am now. See? Not so hard. Try typing at LEAST 4 sentences in this kind of format. I just want to know what you are thinking right now!

I love this style of writing. Several pieces in the book I wrote Zengratti are in this form. This is taken from one I wrote years ago called The Author My pen runs dry Scribbled lines on torn pages tossed on the floor There comes a quiet, rather recluse feeling when the words remain obscure and inspiration lays dormant dee within the crevasses of the subconscious. I stare into nothingness for hours, turning circles around the room and out the window at the world outside.

This style also goes against my grain because I am an organized and regimented person. I plan everything out and pay attention to details. What I'm thinking now is that I have a whole house to clean because I have been wasting so much time on the computer this last week and I can't seem to get organized to do it. Between posts and other things here I think about how the laundry needs to be done, every time I use the bathroom I think that I should give it a good cleaning, I have a sink getting full of dishes, but I keep coming back to the computer. This is my new addiction for the New year! In some ways I feel lazy and unmotivated, but I am in fact doing something. That was my attempt! Of course I HAD to use the spell check at the end... Personality flaw, I guess!

lol I know how you feel. Most of the time I think I have some strain of OCD because I make sure everything is capitalized properly and spelled correctly, proper grammar, etc. And if I realize I made a mistake after I post I get so mad! Most places have an edit function but myLot doesn't!
