it is not clash of civilization. But the day is not far when clash of civlizatioin will take place. Basically islam and democracy can't co-exist.

GREAT question. I think there is a clash going on. The socialist and theocratic governments that are becoming more common and more powerful are breeding a backwards interpretation/reform of Islam. This is definately in disagreement with teh current human rights expectations in the world. There is no democracy in Sharia, it always leads to bad things. I think maybe there is some problems regarding these countries being new to sovereignty having been colonized up until the past half century. maybe they are experiencing growing pains of a revolution of the masses into a more state controlled government that is reactionary to independence. Maybe its the same kinda thing South America wen't through with communism and all their revolutions. Hopefully it will all resolve some way without escalating into a stalemate or confrontation between two ideologies or in the eyes of some, a religious war (which it really wouldn't be, but false propaganda in Islamic states is rampant already).
