Employee of the Month As to December near to an end we held our annual company meeting last Monday December 25, 2006 discussing the progress of the company, new policy and the vision too. Aside from the mentioned topic some new achievement and rules and regulation are discuss and implemented. As our meeting goes further we held voting for the employee of the month as the other establishment did our employee of the month must be the best among the be of our employee. As didn't come in the afternoon since it is my holiday rest day at least I didn’t get the chance to know who win the best employee of the month. The following morning when I was in the car traveling going my work I saw our company tea boy riding in a new bicycle going to work too. And so I realized that he must be the one win since he discuss to our administration manager that his bicycle was stolen from his house while parking outside. I over heard them discussing about his bicycle and how they pity on him walking all along the way to work. At first they decide to contribute a small amount to buy bicycle for him but then maybe they remember our employee of the month has the prize to win. Isn’t that unfair to other employee who did their best to be a good employee but never win because of this incident. In addition most of other employee will not really happy with the result but who cares when the administration decide about that. Any way I don’t think it is not appropriate for him to since I don’t know him well; they said he work on the company for five years now. At your opinion how you will judge an employee to win as the employee of the month?
