The latest GTA game that I played was San Andreas, And I think it is more detailed and have more great features than the past GTA games that I played. You can lead a gang of your own, customize your characters physical appearance and drive new cars. Plus, you get a chance to fly a plane here!;)

the best game in the gta series for me was gta 3 i dont know why,i just like it vice city and san andreas were aloso great

i will say it is Vice City, the story line is great, the graphic is nice. The design is great too. And mostly it really into what gamer needs, more than a real one it should be. 2nd will be GTA SA, this is second cause the story line isn;t that great but the new feature that add on make it sound almost perfect, swimming, climb and so on. still my first choice for Vice City.

gta san andreas is the best..if u ask me..coz its got all kinds of games in it!!!..it has everything that vice city has and a bit extra..so..in that way its better than vuce city..well!!..its got great graphics too..
