I don't think it matters what color you were in the winter. I know dark colors absorb the heat in the summer that's why we are told to wear light colors. But as far as protecting you from cold I have never heard of dark colors doing that.

i dont think so.only black clothes will not allow heat to pass throught them.so if we wear in summer it will be horrible.if you try in winter there will be no change coz there is less amount of sunrays falling

it is a sceintific truth that black colour absorbs every colour so, when u go in sunlight the black colour suit absorbs all light and heat that's why it is said!

Black clothes help to keep the body warmer. This is scientifically proven. That's it's advisable to wear light colored clothes in summer to prevent heat. This implies wearing black colored clothes protect from cold.

i think in small measure yes, the black clothes protect you from cold in the winter.as we all know the black clothes is not recomandable summer because is geting really hot inside. but you can wear black clothes in winter because the small heat that is transmissed from the sun is captated by clothes.

i think so. coz i think black is a hot color. i mean, if its summer, i dont like wearing black coz i feel like it adds to the heat. i like wearing light-colored dress during summer like white or pink. so i guess, black is good during winter. ^__^;;

No, it is not the color but the material that helps us in the winter, something thin like a t-shirt even though it is balck you will still feel cold in and would no matter what color it was, Black dose attract heat in the summer and should be avoided but it is not the other way around at least outdoors.

I think wearing black attracts more sunlight, hence making the wearer warmer.
