Who's your favourite tennis player?

Nowadays, Roger Federer. He has more talent in his left pinky than most other players combined. His game is true poetry in motion...and if he has another year like 2006 he will soon almost unanimously be considered the greatest of all time. Nadal has tested Federer more consistently than anyone else so far, but mostly based on determination, not pure talent. Though Roddick just beat Federer just last week in the finals of a warm up tournament before the 2007 Aussie Open started today. And Andy has definitely continued to get stronger in his determination and performance over the last 6 months. How has he done that? My favorite player of all time...Jimmy Connors has been helping Andy, that's how. Jimmy is "Mr. Determination" and his spirit is something for everyone to aspire to. I saw him play live several times back in my high school days. Awesome stuff. What's been missing for Roger until maybe this year, is the intense 3 or 4 way rivalries like Jimmy had with Borg, McEnroe and Ivan Lendl. That's why tennis had such a great boom in the 70's - ealy 80's. Real depth at the uppermost eschelon. But if Andy continues as I hope, Nadal continues like in 2006, and James Blake picks it up a notch like he seems to be...things could become like the good old days of the 70's again. Throw in a wild card or two like Marat Safin who also has trememdous natural talent (though psychotic sometimes) and Tommy Haas, if he stays healthy AND cranks it up a notch and Marcos Bagdhatis...and 2007 could turn out to be a banner year for Tennis.

My favourite ATP Tennis player is obviously Roger Federer, but also Marcos Baghdatis I like (expecially this year at Wimbledon have you seen???) In WTA Miss Sharapova is sure the most beautiful and also good player, but I like most , like tennis player, Justine Henin

My favourite player its Fernando Verdasco and in the WTA is Daniela Hantuchova

I like andy murray. Personally I think he's going great length to say how young he is, I do like a lot of others but he's the one I support and follow since he broke into the ranks. ~Joey
