Have you ever seen a little kid that was having too much fun and didn't want to quit playing long enough to go to the bathroom? That's me! I'm so engrossed I don't want to stop! LOL I even sometimes eat in front of the computer! Of course, it's a little hard to type that way! LOL Anyone else having these problems?

I can understand what you mean and can surely relate to it lol
Many times i tell myself I will go after 15 minutes, then another 30 minutes, etc. have to finish reading this first, have to make another post, have to check my friends discussions, etc it's not just mylot, it's the whole internet that I'm addicted to but i know how to drag myself away from it when needed :)

Hi estherlou, this is the second time I have found myself hopelessly laughing and totally unable to control my laughter after reading a posting of yours. With comments that are so totally on point and thought provoking it is definitely making me and this computer 'one'. Time seems to slip away,
I ignore hunger pangs, my right arm at times feel somewhat
stressed...yes I am hocked but I don't think this is a bad

Sounds a bit like me estherlou except I do gt away to cook the meal sometimes and we always eat the evening meal sitting around the table. However, at other times I am so engrossed in what I am reading and responding to that I forget all about the time. Then my ISP cuts me off because I can only be online for 4 hours before this happens, although I can immediately reconnect.
I am not sure that there is a cure for this disease called internet forums either estherlou.

Well, right now, I am eating, at my computer. Last night, I fell asleep, in front of my computer. So, yes, I believe I have the same problem...lol

Yes, I sometimes sit and sit and type and type until I start to nod off and then decide I'd better get up and go to bed! LOL..I've never actually fallen asleep, but pretty close!

That's me you are talking about. I have most of me meals while at the computer and I chop them up so that I can eat them with a fork in my left hand, leaving my right hand free for the mouse. Of course I can't type either, but I ususally play games that require only the use of the mouse, while I am eating. I think I will have to join computer addicts anonymous.

Alexandria, I do exactly the same thing with eating with my utensil in one hand and playing game sites on the internet with my other hand on the mouse. I usually play Netwinner (http://www.netwinner.com) during my lunch hour. You probably already know about it, but it's an addictive game site where you earn points towards gift cards for places like Target and Wal-Mart. I love being able to make some money online while also accomplishing something else at the same time. Multi-tasking is a way of life for me! LOL ^_^

Sometimes I act like this, ooppss, I mean most of the times... It's alright to play games but do not make it a reason to forget about your responsibilities.

Sounds a little bit like me. I would never sit infront of the computer to the point of actually peeing my pants or anything (that would be a serious addiction) but eating infront of the computer, yes I do that. It doesn't really make much sense for me to eat infront of the computer though, it's not like I can type or anything. It's almost like I sit infront of the computer while eating just to make sure my computer or mylot won't take off on me lol...

Yes, I happen to be a bit like that, only since I am on other sites and answering mail, and usually doing dishes etc. I multi task normally anyway, however if things are going well or even if I have to search for discussions which can be frustrating I tend to eat dinner at the computer anyway and in fact I am eating pizze as I type this. Between bites of course. I just had to tear myself away to use the restroom too now that you mentioned it.LOL
