Are you going to miss Mike Baldwin on Coronation Street?

Here in Canada, we just saw the episode where Mike Baldwin died. I thought it was very touching, and I will miss his character a lot. His character was always up to something fun, and he was a cocky SOB. The show won't be the same without him. What do Corrie fans think?

Must admit he wasn't my favourite character, but he's been in the soap for some considerable time and yes in a way he will be missed. I am in the UK too and you are behind in the storylines so I won't spoil it for you. There are a lot of great characters and the acting is brilliant. Do you also watch Emmerdale? Because I prefer Emmerdale myself

No, I haven't really got into Emmerdale, I'm a hard core Corrie fan. I hate it that we're so far behind you though. I'm going on a tour in April that includes the Corrie studios. I've never been to the UK, I can't wait.

Wow you only saw that episode now??!! I have to say that although Mike was a great character, I actually don't miss him. There are a lot of good characters in Corrie and they more than make up for Mike's untimely departure. I don't wanna ruin it for you but other departure's as momentus as Mike's are on the cards! And there are a few weird storylines coming up also. I love Corrie..

I agree with you the show just won't be the same without him. All soaps need their SOB's. I think a new younger model of Mike is on the way.

He was pretty cool, and he'd been around for years. Shame to see him go.

I'm in Canada too and I hate that we are almost a year behind the UK. I have heard some of what is coming up... Anyway, I didn't think I would but I miss Mike. I like how they had him die in Ken's arms.

your a while behind us here in the uk (dident even know you got it out there you learn something everyday) i use to like mike for the way he lived life on his own terms the way he went out was very sad such a powerfull man brought down to someone who couldent even look after himself
