Yes, that is right. 2 years ago today, I lost my dad to a battle against breast cancer. He was originally diagnosed in 1998 with breast cancer (male) and was almost 5 years clean of it when it came back in his lungs, stomach, and brain. It continually spread in his body and finally took him from us. Please be aware and knowledgeable that men can get breast cancer as well. Most men die from it because it is so rare and undetected. Men get the same signs women get - spots in there chest or underarms, leakage from their breasts, etc. Men need to do self breast exams as well and not let a doctor tell them it is nothing. Demand to have a mammogram. Go to www.malebreastcancer.org for more information.
