In the name of liberating the country, the USA waged war in Iraq.
In the name of business, China paid the Sudanese government USD500mil a year to extract oil which makes up to to 10% of China's imported oil. Western Journalists claim as much as USD400mil a year is spent on weapons to suppress the "rebels" - the Christians and native tribes. The Sudanese government is largely made of up elite Arab Muslims.
Who doesn't turn evil when the dangling carrot happens to be oil?
