Gay dating in high school

Awhile back a gay high school student want to take his boyfriend to the high school prom. The school forbade it and the media was in an uproar. What do you think? Should gay teenagers be allowed to bring their dates to the prom?

I think gay students should still be allowed to go to the prom. That's ridiculous not to allow them.
I wasn't out of the closet yet in high school, and couldn't afford the prom anyway. But if I had had a girlfriend, I think the prom might have been cool. Ours was at an aquarium. I can't really say I wish I went or something, because I don't. It would have sucked being single. But I wouldn't have wanted to go with a guy either.
