I know I always lie, about anything that would help my career or benefit me.but now I realize I even lie to my friends, although that's just some white lies,And I know it's wrong,I'm just wondering if there's anything to do with trust?!

You can be honest with strangers because you aren't worried if they like you or if they will be hurt by what you say. But, with your friends, you care about them and want to protect their feelings. You tell them white lies to flatter them, to make them feel better about themselves or to keep them from finding out unpleasant things.

Are you telling your friends what you think they want to hear for fear of being judged by them? No one wants their friends to think bad about them.
