Iraq was a poison gas problem, but Iran is a nuclear problem.

See, the real Plan isn't to control the oil & gas in Iraq and Afghanistan. The goal is to control the resources of Iran and the Caspian Sea. However, the USA can't invade directly. Iran has some military hardware, and the USA public isn't prepared yet.
There's no support for a D-Day like invasion of Iran, even though the movie Saving Private Ryan is on cable about twice month. American media are feeding the public a constant diet of war drama both through movies and through the news. The effect is to re-awaken America's fighting spirit and help it remember the glory of warfare.
Still, there are problems. Four Boy Scout leaders were electrocuted at the annual Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia last week. They tried to erect a tent and the aluminum tent pole fell onto some power lines. No first aid bandages or tournequets could save them. Feet were raised and blankets used to prevent shock, but these measures failed too.
Then President Bush was supposed to speak there, but 300 scouts suffered heat exaustion so that had to be postponed until last night. America's youth para-military organizations aren't getting the job done yet.
