I am. I must have a low attention span. I'm so sick of hearing about it all. How many times do you have to hear the same old thing!

I'm so glad it's not just me, I have never understood any of it and now they just have a new excuse to fight, amazing really when you think of all the people in the world with huge problems with starvation and disease we still give aid to people who only want to fight each other, has the world gone mad?

Thank-you so much for giving me your best response, I felt guilty writing that at the time but it seems that several months on we are still in the same situation and a lot more peoplehad lost their lives to this unhappy war.

Yes, most definitely. I switched on the news on the day he was executed and I just had to switch off again because it went on for the whole day. The images of his last moments and the one after he was executed just turned my stomach. Now I intend to forget about him and if I see any images of him on my tv screen again, I will immediately switch off.

Whatever the subject of the day or week...the news just goes on and on and on about it until we are just sick of hearing it and I turn it off too! I didn't want to watch any of it...every time I saw his picture I'd change the channel.

Well I must be out of some loop. I only realised a couple of days ago he was hanged. I knoew it was happening but....I don't really want to comment on things like that because I have no idea on all of the details. But yes lets all move on now...

At least he's a legitimate figure in the news. What I'm sick of is hearing about the latest partying events by Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. They're not important in the news at all, they're just lame-brained celebrities who don't have enough sense to put on underwear. How does that warrant all the endless media coverage they get?

I am, but I guess for a long while that topic is going to be on the lips of many people. I guess we have to see but don't see, hear but don't hear those topics. Once the media latches on to something else, conversations I am sure will drift to the next current event...SS
