Probably the best thing to do is planning an holiday before, maybe long time before. That's obviosuly theory because I am always so busy that also if I like to planning before I start to organize in the last days, paying more expensive tickets or more expensive hotel.

I go on well planned holiday. In hurry, I do not go. Because ticket, hotel etc bookings in advance helps us to enjoy holiday tensionfree. 11th hour planning disturbs our holiday enjoyment. I avoid last minute decision not only for holiday but for others too.
