Sons Of Rawls, Gaye Locked In Lawsuit

The son of the late legendary singer Lou Rawls is suing the son of the late Marvin Gaye in Los Angeles over a dog attack that left him injured in 2005. TMZ.com, reported Saturday that the suit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleges that in January, 2005, plaintiff Lou Rawls, Jr. was "bit, clawed and physically and mentally injured" by the four large dogs belonging to Marvin Gaye III. According to the suit, Rawls was visiting Gaye's home at the time of the alleged attack. Rawls claims he suffered "pain, injury, loss of blood, tearing of flesh, multiple dog-bite wounds, fear of disease and other injuries and loss." No specific damage amounts were mentioned in the lawsuit. Marvin Pentz Gaye III is a record producer who controls his father's estate.
