Idea to make peace in Iraq

I just brought up a map on Iraq from google and since I havent got 500 posts I cant put URL in here but seems to me that if the take the Sunni kurd arab mix and the shla mix with what peoples are in that territoy .
to be split into ,two different countries with their own governmevt .
Since they cant seem to get along with each others believes ( which seem the same to me) it maybe the only solution .What do you think

en,Good idea but not an easy issue! The different culture background makes different idea in different country,but one thing is the same that every country wanna hold more resources and wealth which may be the nature of human beings,no,all animals. And huamn beings are the most intellegent animals in the world, so the conficts between different regions may lead to disasters because of the modern weapon's power. I think we can't understand the idea of Iraq. If we force them to be splitted,it may lead to more conficts,even wars.

Seems like there can never be peace if there is no compromise. Having different sectors in religion is a difficult situation but I think it is possible to have peace and unity. THe only question is whether they are willing though.

Hey lakota, Forget about meddling in other country's issue. Who are to see if they should be indipendent. These white skinned people always try to create countries and make troubles for their gain like they have done in indian subcontinent. Now to bring peace in iraq JUST THE AMERICAN ARMY should quit.... They are worse than nazi army

I totally disagree with you there knight it is not the American Army and as for being worse then then Nazis I don't think anyone could be worse then them and take this from someone who has relatives that lived through that
The Iraquis want to start looking at their Country and start quitting what is going on so that the American and british Army can go home to their Families they don't want to be there
So I think there is no need to attack the Americans on this they did not start it

To the USA,the best choice is withdrawing all its troops from Iraq as quickly as possible.Let iraqi people deal with their own business.

se what would be my sugesstion is that power be handed back to iraqui locals and a fair election should be initiated.the american forces shouls step out of iraqui soil....further the warlords should be captured and till stability retur ns un peace keeping force should be deployed.only this way iraq will be stabilised.

the only thing is to make american's participation in iraq!and also saddam's execution will also great impact and it make take some time to make peace there!

I don't think they want Peace so I think the world should leave them well and truly alone, and I mean alone because if anyone tries to help them people accuse them of interfering anyway....

great to see you, i thought to make p[eace in iraq is american troops and their friend must go out from iraq, and let iraq people to build their own country with freedom. that's my idea good luck

I think this is what many faction in Iraq wants, like Kurds want a seperate country of their own, I think the problem is how the resources are going to be share and also since Iraq in itself is a country, dividing it in 3 reults in still smaller countries which may not survive on their own

good idea it has worked before, but you are talking about people who know nothing but war if you split the country in 2 then they will still be at war with each other
i have a solution but too many people would report me for my comment, but my idea would take no more than 1 year for peace in the whole middle east

Some variation of your suggestion could be possible. However, there would probably have to be a joint sharing of the oil wealth. Think of the trouble there would be with that!

Different regions of the country have different resources (like the oil fields in the north). Splitting these groups up will not be easy because they will both want control over certain resources to insure that their newly formed country is wealthy. The only difference it would create is the two new nations would fight each other instead of their being civil unrest (and potential civil war).
Plus, not everyone fits in one of those 2 groups. There will still be minority factions no matter how you slice it. If these people can not live in harmony with each other, what will happen to the minority groups once it is split into the two larger groups?

after the execution of saddam,iraq is now on the boiling hot pot. politically it is one of the highly unstable part of the globe.it should be known that for iraq "yesterday was better than today".
as far as peace process is concerned the only way of attaining peace in iraq is to install more troops( iraqi or united nations ).
