You mean reading... I thought writing. It's much easier to read and sometimes criticize. It's very difficult to write. I am a moody writer, I finish a lot when I have the appropriate mood; otherwise, I can't do anything, I mean writing. Keep on reading and you will become faster in reading and you might also become a good writer someday. May God bless you. SEN

When I take a book in hand I take a quick view from the first chapter, and if it looks promising to me, I just begin to read. If I don't find it fascinating, I make some more quick 'tests', from the middle and from the end. If the author didn't manage to convince me then, I just put the book away, and try the next one. But if I really like something, I'm a quick reader. If it's just a romance or detective story, it usually doesn't take more time than 2 or 3 hours, if there are not over 400 pages. A 'serious' literature, especially non-fiction, takes more time of course.

It depends on how much I like the book. There have been books that I've finished in a day. They're usually 200 pages or more. I once read a 1000 page book in 5 days. It was just a really great book and it was hard for me to put down.

I am a dedicated reader. So dedicated that I would read two books at once. It usually takes me a day or two to finish a really good book.

It depends what is going on at that time in my life. These days, with an infant and a 7 year old, it takes me a lot of time to finish a book becuase I don't have a lot of time to devote to reading. I love reading so this is unfortunate. I wish I had more time to read but it would mean staying up in the middle of the night and then I'd never get anything done properly during hte day.

As much as I love a good book, I hardly read anymore since having a family. I am obsessively in love with a good story. I will start a book and then do NOTHING else until I finish it. I generally always read a book cover to cover in one sitting. I've never understood my friends who could get a book to read on the bus, for example, and only read a couple of pages each day. It would take them a month or more to read one paperback book! LOL I can't do that. So, needless to say, if I ever DO pick up a good book now, it'll be on a Saturday or something... because I know nothing else will get done. My husband laughs because I'll barely even stop to eat LOL
