Girls, What would you do?

This weekend I joined a friend for her birthday at a local bar. Her husband was there along with some of his co-workers and what not. We had a few beers and drinks, watched some college football and just had a nice time. One of the co-workers was pretty good looking, but was married. When I left I gave everyone a hug and said co-worker goes "I know I'm married but he's my card. Call me sometime." My friend was kinda shocked and I just put the card in my pocket. We went to the ladies room where I ripped the business card up and threw it away. What would you have done? I think, well I know, I did the right thing.

Yes, you did the right thing- for yourself (most importantly) and for his wife. If a man cheats on his wife, he would most definitely cheat on you. Who knows how many cards he has given out? There is something inherently wrong with a person who cheats when in a committed relationship, and you don't need to be involved in their web of deceit and lies. Not to mention how unfair it is to his wife.

Thanks for the great response! I've been cheated on before so I know how it feels. The sad thing is I bet 1/2 of the girls in that bar would have kept the card.

Not to mention, if they are doing this to their wife, their going to do it to the person their cheating with. It's a circle.

I would of done the exact same thing. I wouldn't of said anything to him, it wouldn't of done any good anyhow. Let him sit there and wonder why your not calling, lol. Way to go, you did the right thing!
