Ice in Russia melts and methane is being released into our atmosphere? / myLot

What is going on with the planet?...First the Ice Caps, now Russia? Explosive methane is rising from the earth into our environment and ultimatly into our atmosphere..we are building a bigger bomb than ever before and it is occuring by the hand of nature, scary stuff! The earth is splitting appart in some corners of the world while it is climbing itself on the other side! temperatures are rising here and dropping there..What have we done? Have you seen "An Inconvient Truth"? The doccumentary about global warming? What are your thoughts on the movie? Most importantly what are some of your ideas about how we can help? and What we MUST do? peace Diss-Position

Its only now, after we have set all the wheels in motion that we realise what we are doing to the planet that supports our life, but then people keep saying that the ice age we may well play host to is our cause...if we think about it, the ice age that destroyed the dinosaurs and everything that lived millions of years ago...surely those dinosaurs didnt have combustion cars, power plants and the like? what we need to consider is, is there any way of working around nature? nature is the biggest force the human race would ever have competed against, do you think we have what it takes to overcome nature? khris
