you and I must be near the same age, because I loved all those shows as well. Do you remember the name of Sky King's plane? Or his niece? Did you also watch Cisco Kid?

Ann King was the daughter's name. I know I'd know the name of the plane if I saw it again, but right now I'm not remembering it.
When I was growing up, we only had 1 channel in town, so Cisco Kid wasn't on, didn't get My Friend Flicka either, tho one of the stations in San Antonio showed it and I once in a while caught it at the nieghbor's who had an attenna.
We were, as my dad called it, behind the "Johnson grass curtain" because LBJ - well Lady Bird really - owned the only TV station and they kept other stations out of the market for YEARS. When another finally came in, they put together one of the first cable companies and we finally got about 11 stations.
My family has had cable since 1963.

Well I prefer the Lone Ranger. I loved the original serials but also the movie they made several years ago called The Legend of the Lone Ranger. Christopher Llyod did an excellent job as Cavendash. It's one I'd love to find on DVD.

I'm a big fan of the Lone Ranger. I like every Lone Ranger series or serial that's ever been done but the one with Clayton Moore is my favorite. I collect Lone Ranger stuff but its slow going since you can only find it on ebay and some of it pretty expensive.
