Have you lost weight, and you want to share how you did it? If so, I want to hear your story. I like inspiration. At age 16 I was 285 pounds. My lowest weight was 205 in September 05. I am currently a more muscular 210. My waist size is down from 44 to 32 so I can now fit into all the clothing that I like. How did I do it, you ask? Well, I bought Dance Dance Revolution in high school, and got addicted to it, which began the weight loss. I also started playing baseball, worked harder in weightlifting, and I began to eat smaller meals. Lately, I've begun running more frequently as well, and eating with higher frequency (every 2 hours or so) but small meals as a whole. I also eat far more veggies than before, and more leans meats (chicken, turkey, lean beef) and less junk food, although I've fallen off the wagon a bit. How did you do it? Also, how did you deal with the stretch marks and loose skin? It's been only a minor issue for me because I lost the weight over a period of time, but it's still an issue that annoys the hell out of me.

Eat less, meaning not eating the fun stuff as much and sticking to a routine at work. It's easy to eat well during the work week because I'll only eat what I bring to work. Plus, I work out during my lunch hour. I heard vitamin E cream will help with stretch marks. Tanning helps cover it up as the bodybuilders do that, however, you'll have to keep doing it. Not sure about having surgery to get rid of some loose skin. Have you thought about that?

Thanks for the reply. I really do not want to do surgery, especially cuz I don't have that much loose skin as a whole. It's moreso the stretch marks that are the problem. Good idea with the Vitamin E cream though, i should try that out. I tan sometimes, but lately it's not so easy since the weather is so much colder (even for San Diego it's cold) and I'm currently planning to use what money I do have on a new truck.
