How many hours a week do spend in a car driving?

I was thinking to myself, that i must spend about 45 hours driving back and forth to work, and errands on weekends.

I think around 40.Saturday and Sunday are the days that i spend the most time driving because i drive for recreation and is around 15 hours.

45 hours driving? thats alot I probably spend 4 hours a day driving on average so that would be about 28 hours a week. I live in the sticks, and its about 30 minuets to anywhere. You must really be in the sticks. thats more than what you work at your job! Wow!

Being retired I do not drive very much now, but every now and then I pop down to my Brother who lives in Manchester which is 300 miles from where I am in Scotland.
