Is anyone else ashamed or embarassed to be American?

I'm get so sick when I hear an American spew out that America is the free-est country or that it's the best country to live in. Here are some facts:
1. Americans killed, at this point in time, 650,000 Iraqis and 3000 American soldiers based on lies.

2. American media, national and local, is controlled by the government.

I know a lot of people will spew that if I don't like it here then I should leave. Don't worry. I will. I'm just ashamed that when I meet people around the world that I'm from the USA.

You're one of those idiots that call anyone who is against "Israel" an anti-semite. You probably don't even knaow what a semite is. Second, you don't even refute the arguments I posed above; you just start calling names. Third, you're a loser and some how think the world revolves around you, because you think that leaving will cause mylot to somehow implode and self-destruct.
Do us all a favor and kill yourself.

You stand for hypocrisy, ignorance, and lies. I stand for truth, freedom, and I fight for the things that the USA constitution and the declaration of independence speak of, but I know when I'm fighting a losing battle. America is filled with apathy.
Besides, I thought you were leaving.

im not ashamed to be an american.i cannot control what the goverment or bush.who kills who or what jobs goes were.i just love my country an you should also. i know the u.s is not prefect but what coutry is

I plan to be able to pick the best of each country. Ideally, I will work some place for half the year and spend the other half traveling. When I have kids, I hope to send them to school half the year in a country and have them stay with me the other half, traveling as well.
