IS ORKUT.COM Becoming too unsafe a place o share personal information??

The scrap book entries on orkut are always visible also ppl can send u any messages without being on ur friendlist should orkut make scraps visible only to ppl on the friendlist?? how can spams be prevented??

i think it is only due to this fact taht orkut is so famous. that's why you should not post anything personal in scrap book. But I think as the photos can be downloaded freely from orkut, that should be restricted.

I just joined orkut today. Now I may not want to be a part of this site. I thought it was going to a lot like mylot. I don't think anything compares to mylot.

yes , Orkut should have a facility to make scraps public / private by the member . we can have moderation on for scraps ...

hi orkut is famous for its view of other members... u can see a the people and see the scraps...thats how it attracter the people.. but its time now to provide a private space for each user apart from pubilc scrap book....thats the easy solution with out loosing the reputation

yes ..thats true ...orkut is not safe at all..as any one can download your pictures.or can see your personal information..

it is a dangerous place to post any personal onfo..plz dont anyone!! one of my friends have face a hell of a problem..plz dont guys..u have better place sto get personal
