so the answer to your question lies in the fact that, birds have evolved from reptiles. so the first chicken should have developed from an egg that a reptile (i.e. the intermediate form between reptiles and birds or the hen)laid. so the egg came first, then chicken came from that..!! satisfied with the answer????
