Gas Prices

What does everyone think about gas prices going down? I think that if it keeps going down, then people will buy more of it, and that's what the oil companies need to realize. People would buy more of it, and go out of town more, and see their families. In one state right now, don't remember where, but $1.99, wouldn't that be great is Sacramento, CA. I remember when gas was $1.68, this is rediculous, it needs to keep going down. We are also a family that loves taking roadtrips with our 3 kids. Just wanted to know other peoples opinions.

I love the low prices but I'm skeptical of them lasting long. There will be something else that comes up to force the prices to go higher. Them oil companies need their billion dollar profits, you know. The execs need their million dollar bonuses too. Anyway. It has steadied out at $2.19 here outside of Pittsburgh, but we went to Canton, OH on Monday and we saw as low as $1.98 on our drive. I never thought I would see it go below $2 again. And I remember when I met my husband and started driving his truck we were paying $.99 a gallon in a rural MO town. I can't even imagine that anymore. (That was back in 1999)

I think it is great!!! Right now, in my area, the cheapest is $2.33. Just a few weeks ago we were paying over $3.00 a gallon.
