Susanne and I were invited by Nengah Sutu, our driver in Candidasa, to attend a cremation in his village. Having seen cremations in India we were really eager to see what they were like in Bali -- and as we soon discovered, it was more like a festival than anything else. it's cal ngaben in bali. why the hinduism must do that???

not just their traditions, it was all came from their belief. and I guess so that it's because they believe in reincarnation so they had to release spirit free to change into another form in the next life. I am not sure if it's true, but that's what I assumes.
