Music for belly dance?

I like to dance to a wide range of musc, currently I like stuff by Hossam Ramsy but I also dance to folk music and to some modern pop. What do you dance to, what is your favourite belly dancetrack of all time?

Hi, I agree that music from Hossam Ramsy is great, If your looking for music a really good pop band for belly-dancing to is Mezdekke I really like there album mezdekke 4 the first track is Arab Raphsody i great to dance to has a nice solid beat, so is often enjoyed by non-bellydance orientated audiances. Another good artist is George Abdul if you can find any of his work.

i don't have a favorite song i like to belly dance to all kinds of music, whatever makes me feel sexy.

I like all sorts of music too, but I'm constanty surprised by just how many types of music you can successfully dance to. Itsone of the really nice things about this dance form I think.

www.hipdrop.com is an online radio station of all bellydance music. I've found a lot of great stuff there! And I know it's cliche, but I really enjoy all of the Bellydance Superstars CDs.

My word. I do not have a favorite. I like Hossam Ramsy too! I also like Mezdeke, and Nourhanne's "Habibi Ya Eine."
