Not only pizza for breakfast but actual Breakfast Pizza?Use your typical crust but use cheese sauce instead of pizza sauce. Instead of the usual toppings try these:steak, or bacon, or ham, or sausage (or all of them together), we'll call it Breakfast Lovers Pizza ... LOL, include scrambled eggs, country fried potatoes or your favorite vegies (if any), and of course mega amounts of cheese. Would you eat it? I sure would ... yummy:)

ONe of our local pizza restaurant owners was considering embarking upon this new fad. It never took off. I have had a fruit pizza. I was made of sugar cookie dough and topped with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, sliced kiwi, bananas and pineapple. Then topped off with whipped cream. Nummmy.

Wowsers, I never heard of a fruit pizza but it sounds good. Could be a good thing to have for guests, parties, etc. I will keep it in mind and try it the next time I have company. It's a better idea than the usual cake or pie don't ya think?

I love veggie pizzas. I make them with cresent rolls as the crust, just bake it.. Then add cream cheese. Then top with cut up veggies and push them into the cream chees. I love them. I could eat them everyday. When my mother in law was dying of cancer, my husbands entire family went together and rented an appartment. The hospital was 3 hour drive one way so we just stayed there and took turns sleeping. We also took up a collection from everyone to purchase food. I purchased veggie pizza as I could not eat most of the stuff they bought. They tent do buy stuff with MSG in it. Anyway. They looked at my pizza and said YUCK you dont have to worry about anyone eating that. Well the next day...it was gone. They all loved it. I had to go buy me more..lol I love it for breakfast

We make breakfast pizza all the time and have for years. We use scrambled eggs in place of the sauce, then top it with lots of cheese and ham, breakfast sausage and bacon. Now I am hungry for it.

Cool, sounds good and makes me hungry, again. Do you make your own crust? A lot of people that I know use canned biscuits or boxed crust but I like the home made crust the best.

Did you ever make this? It really sounds great. I'm going to have my brother embark on this experiment- he's the gourmet cook of the family and loves to make things like this. I could even see it with tomato sauce, but I'm one of those people who puts ketchup on eggs and hash browns.

Yes, I would eat it. But, I have never tried it. Lots of melted butter on top of it would make it perfect. Thanks for the idea.

Those are very good, I havent made one in a while, but yes we have tried it. The favorite one around here is to make the dough, bake it (before I bake it I usually knead a little cinnamon in the dough, but just a little) and when it's done about 15 minutes or so depending on your oven...we let it cool for about 5 minutes, spread a small amount of butter on top and while it is still warm we then spread either creamy or chunky peanute butter and either grape jelly on top or strawberry....my kids loved it...it's just like having peanute butter toast and jelly...really good

Way cool that you have it now and then. That's a different twist for a breakfast pizza and I'm sure my grandkids would love the way you make yours. I might try it someday when they come stay the night, thanks ;) and thanks for your response.

When I was young like at 10 years old, I use to eat pizza for breakfast. Cold pizza in the morning was the best breakfast to me back in the days, but obviously it wasen't healthy.

Well sure it's healthy as long as we don't overdo it. It's like having the basic four food groups all on one piece of crust.

i really sometimes prepared a pizza breakfast or even on weekends & holidays. i usually use french bread or white loaf cut into lengthwise then spread some pizza or spag sauce then topped with mushrooms, ham, bacon or pepperoni & crushed hard boiled egg with load of mozzarrela cheese. bake & serve hot with dash of garlic powder. sometimes i even use wheat bread loaf then topped with anything for breakfast as corned beef with egg or cubed lucheon meat with tomatoes & onion & load of mixed cheese then bake. try this recipes with a cup of hot cocoa & a pc. of banana. this makes you feel great for the whole day as you start it up so healthy!
