Does anyone collect toys?

I do. And I'm running into a bit of a problem. Some of my figures have real clothes on. Does anyone know how I can keep them dust free and clean?

Hey ShadowWalker :) You don't mention the size of your collectibles but if they are too big to store in display cases that will keep them clean, you can always dust them regularly with a soft makeup brush or paintbrush. You can also use a very low suction on a vacuum (I just read where you should also put a nylon over the end of the vacuum to do this... I didn't know that part!) but you have to be REALLY careful if you're going to use suction because you can cause damage. I think it would be better to dust them regularly instead and not let too much dust accumulate so that you'd be forced to try vacuuming. Here's a website about doll care that I think would be applicable to many kinds of collectibles that would have real clothes, as you mentioned. I hope this helps! :) http://the-doll-shoppe.com/care__cleaning_tips.htm

Thanks for the information. I'd never thought of using a vacuum to dust them.
