I have two wonderful little boys, but one day i hope to have a girl (not any time soon though) (; Everyone says that having boys is completly different than having girls? what are the differences besides pink and blue obviously? (: Are girls easier, or boys?

Right, wrong or indifferent, I wanted my first baby to be a girl. She was going to be Christine. I guess you can guess that he was a boy. No, of course I wasn't disappointed after the initial shock. He was wonderful. He was a bonny baby. And you know what? Even though I had always dreamed of having a daughter and calling her Christine, I never wanted a girl again. I wanted 7 boys. Well, I had five sons and they were all wonderful, but the last two never arrived. I'm afraid I can't tell you the difference, but I can assure you that boys are beaut!

Yes, boys are wonderful. I love being able to roughhouse with them and play hard. I do want a girl, but I know this, if God wants me to have one, I will, otherwise he'll take the desire away for one. Thanks for your comment.

Well, I would have to say that my son is a lot easier than my daughter. They are 23 months apart (my son is the oldest) and right now they are three and one. If I had my daughter first, my son wouldn't be here! I love her with all my heart and wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world but even the pregnancy was horrible compared to my son, I loved being pregnant with him. And when she was born she had collic, cried non stop, didn't like being rocked to sleep and even though she's one she still doesn't sleep all night yet! With my son, he hardly ever cried, by four months old I could set a clock by him for getting his bottle in the night and by six months he was sleeping all night. With age she has gotten a little easier but I just don't know how two kids that came from the same two people are like night and day by that much!

Well having also had my two boys first and then a girl I feel that there isn't much difference at least not when your daughter only has two boys as influences. My little girl almost three now is just as active and hard core as her brothers. She hates wearing dressing and acting like a princess like her girl cousins do. She is starting to get into the girly stuff a little but not too much. I suppose the big differences will show once she is school age and has more influence from other girls. I will say the potty training went a lot better with her then with her brothers!

Yes, i could see how it wouldn't be much of a difference when her only influence is other boys. THanks for the comment.

I have 3 daughters and another who is due next month. I wanted a boy but after 4 we decided to give up. I know my mom says that is was easier raising they boys than it was me due to the fact that I had additude and was really emotional and knew how to use it to my advantage. The boys just kinda went with the flow.

yes, i could see that, that girls would have alot of emotional baggage to deal with. (: thanks for the comment!
